Thanks for the interesting discussion and video offerings. Spinoza! I can't believe you left Spinoza off your list of philosopher's! It's disturbing how often he is overlooked. His Ethics is more significant than anything Descartes wrote. I suspect it's because Spinoza's pantheism is offensive to Christian types. What do you think?

I think people that are into Spinoza are really into him, and overrate his importance. In my view, and this based on decades of study and teaching, his Ethics is interesting, but not as important or interesting as Descartes works. Nobody has been "left off the list". I simply haven't gotten to everyone I hope to
