What categorizes Anger, Pity, and Love above other emotions? Is joy included, such as exaltation and jubilation or are these for Man to feel towards God? Is jealousy included, such as “Our God is a jealous God.” Would God’s type of jealousy be included in “anger” ? Thanks, Diane
If we're talking about divine emotions, then joy could certainly be among them. I think Lactanius would likely say that "jealousy" is likely an anthropomorphism
