This is really interesting, thank you. On the topic I've spent a lot of time with Aristotle and the Stoics, who are a lot clearer in telling you what they think about anger. I really like the point that Socrates himself doesn't get angry - that's gotta be serving as an inspiration for the Stoics' critique of the emotion.
I never realized that anger was so complicated. It sure can be a tricky situation.
